Your Data
If you sign up for class I will collect some personal data from you in order to keep in touch with you and in order to deliver yoga classes to you if you should want to continue.
The personal data collected may include your name, email address, phone number, payment method and/or details and some health information as disclosed on the health questionnaire or to myself during class or any other conversation.
Your data will be stored securely on carefully selected software. If you choose for your credit/debit card details to be stored, these will be held in the software and are partially obscured from staff view to protect your privacy.
Online classes are delivered via Zoom. To protect your privacy during class, I will turn on the waiting room; this means that only accounts recognised by myself as having been booked, are able to access to the class. If you use an unusual name on your account that I won’t easily recognise, you may have trouble getting in - give me a shout if this happens.
Data Retention
If you choose to stop having yoga lessons, you may ask me to remove some of your data from our systems.
In order to meet insurance and financial obligations, I am required to keep certain details on record for fixed period of time (currently six years). Where this applies, I will not be able to remove your details as I am legally required to keep them on file.
In some cases, it may be possible to anonymise some of the data. If this is not possible, your details will only be deleted from the systems after that period has passed.
Cancellations and rescheduling
I understand that sometimes things change and that there will be times when you aren’t able to make it to a class you previously committed to. I hope that you also understand that I have taken time and spent money to prepare and set up classes and that I pay fees to rent the yoga spaces. As a result, my cancellation policy for classes is as follows:
Any cancellations/rescheduling requests for group or private classes must be made 24h in advance. Classes canceled with less than 24h notice will still be charged.
If I as the teacher need to cancel or reschedule a class, the class will be waived to another day or refunded in full.
Class Pack bookings can be used until their expiry date, any classes left over will not be waived to another booking.
